Jeffrey A. Dretler is a partner in Prince, Lobel, Glovsky & Tye’s Employment Law and Litigation Practice Groups. He regularly appears in both state and federal courts and before the Massachusetts Commission Against Discrimination. His practice includes representation of employers and executive-level employees in a range of matters including discrimination, harassment, wrongful termination, defamation, and wage and hour claims. Jeff advises on non-compete agreements, non-disclosure agreements, severance agreements, and personnel manuals. He also represents clients in other civil litigation matters including contract disputes, unfair business practice claims, disputes within closely held corporations, trademark infringement claims, product liability actions, insurance coverage disputes, director and officer liability issues, civil rights claims, and collection matters.

Jeff’s clients include national corporations, not-for-profit organizations, start-up companies and individuals, with a particular focus on representing closely held and family owned businesses. He represents clients in a variety of industries including manufacturing, financial services, retail, food service, publishing, healthcare and high-tech.

Prior to joining Prince Lobel, Jeff practiced litigation at Mintz, Levin, Cohn, Ferris, Glovsky & Popeo.  He also served as an assistant district attorney with the Suffolk County District Attorney’s Office and as a law clerk to Honorable William G. Young, of the U.S. District Court for the District of Massachusetts.
