Joseph P. Calandrelli is an associate in Prince, Lobel, Glovsky & Tye's Litigation Practice Group where he practices in all phases of commercial and other civil litigation. Joe regularly appears before both state and federal courts where he primarily represents contractors, subcontractors, developers, bonding companies, banking institutions, and other commercial entities in a wide range of complex civil matters. His practice includes all phases of construction related claims, including escalation claims, mechanics' liens, and claims against sureties, among others. Joe has successfully prosecuted and defended bond claims involving some of the region's largest contractors and routinely represents banks and other commercial entities in large real estate disputes, involving issues of both state and federal law.
Prior to joining Prince Lobel, Joe was a law clerk to the Justices of the Massachusetts Superior Court during which time he assisted the Justices in drafting decisions in both civil and criminal cases. While in law school, Joe was a summer associate at Prince Lobel.
Joe graduated from Dartmouth College in 2003, where he was a four-year member of the varsity baseball team. He received his J.D. from Northeastern University School of Law in 2006.
